This chronicles my husband and I's journey to remodeling our 1960's home. My husband has lived in this house pretty much all his life, but this house, having been built in the 1960's, is less than ideal visually. So we started renovating it August of 2012 and it has since improved ALOT!
Although we are frugal people, we sure did not skim on the kitchen, since it is the heart of the house (it feeds us), so we had contractors redo it for us, but the rest of the house will be remodeled by us, as thrifty as possible!
